Suwannee Summer Clusterpluck

The Suwannee Summer Clusterpluck is bringing a epic weekend of pickin' and grinnin' to one of the world's greatest live music venues, The Spirit Of The Suwanee Music Park. Acting as headliners and hosts for the eventare the dynamic duo of Vince Herman and Drew Emmitt, founders of poly-ethnic-cajun-slamgrass institution Leftover Salmon. But you can't have a Clusterpluck without some musical firepower and our sonic arsenal is fully stocked and ready to deploy!

With this much firepower on hand there mixing and matching there are sure to be some volatile and explosive goins on!

We have the husband and wife duo of Larry and Jenny Keel to bring some of that old time flat picking sound to the proceedings. Fellow flat picker Jon Stickley bring his genre defying Trio to the table. Park favorites Grandpa's Cough Medicine, Pickled Holler and Albert Simpson will be on hand to bring their individual elements of outlaw and traditional country and bluegrass to the mix. And, to cap it all off we have the right reverend Jeff Mosier coming down to keep our spirits lifted on high.

Though each act on the line up falls under the roots/bluegrass umbrella each takes their own route to get where they are going. Larry Keel mixes his flat picking supremacy with a gruff howl that can chill the soul. Jon Stickley, Lyndsay Pruett and Patrick Armitage blend elements of jazz and classical music with an Americana sensibilty that is greater than the sum of it's parts. Florida's own Grandpa's Cough Medicine place their sound squarely in the heart of the Oulaw crossroads of country and bluegrass.

When you add this much star power to the always captivating natural beauty and spiritual healing of the Suwannee itself you have a formula for a weekend of bluegrass insanity that will have to be seen to be believed. Join us for a wonderful weekend of the best music, people and atmosphere here on June 23rd and 24th! We can pretty much guarantee a good time will be had by all...especially if the spirit of good times himself, Vince Herman, has anything to say about it!

The Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park is more than just a great place to see a show! With a beautiful white sand beach on the gorgeous Suwannee to enjoy, miles of trails to explore, a top flight Disc Golf course to test your skills on the park is a beloved year round travel destination on it's own. You can spend the day paddling down the river on a canoe, hiking our sun dappled trails or just lay down and take a nap in the shade of a majestic live oak before dancing the night away to some once in a life time jams!

Of course, to enjoy all of this you'll need to do three things. You'll need to get a ticket, make sure your friends know where the party is gonna be and, of course get yourself to the Park!

One of the best places I've ever been for live music! The woods, the people, the bands, the amazing environment, what's not to love? I've been to 4 festivals now at Spirit of the Suwanee and they've all been fabulous. This is a magical place and I look forward to frolicking in their forest for years to come!
